member director election

In response to the recent call for nominations, six eligible members were nominated for the positions of Member Directors of the Trustee. Only one nomination was received from each of the states of New South Wales, Western Australia and the position covering South Australia, Tasmania, Northern Territory and ACT and so these nominated members have been elected unopposed.

Three nominations were received from Victoria, and therefore an election is required to fill the position representing Victoria. The Victorian Member Director position will be filled by the candidate who receives the highest number of votes. The Member Directors will hold office for four years from 1 October 2009 subject to the provisions governing the Fund.  Candidates are Ian Armstrong, Tony Holland and Kate Yeowart.

The roll of voters for the election closed on 24 July 2009. You are eligible to vote in this election if you were recorded as a member of REI Super at that date. Members recorded as members of the Fund after that date will not be eligible to vote.

Ballot papers have been posted to member recorded addresses.  If you have not received a ballot paper please call 1300 13 44 33 to ensure we have your correct address.
