REIWA Chief Executive Officer Neville Pozzi was awarded the prestigious President’s Award at the Real Estate Institute of Australia’s (REIA) 2022 National Awards for Excellence held on Thursday 7 April 2022 in Melbourne. The REIA Presidents
Award is the top award of the evening, which recognises and celebrates exceptional contributions to the real estate profession by individuals who have been in the industry for at least 10 years. Neville has been working at REIWA since 1977 and
was appointed CEO in July 2012. In February this year, Neville achieved an outstanding 45 years of service to the institute.
Neville was a member-elected Trustee Director of REI Super for more than 25 years, appointed in 1993 and serving until late 2021. Neville served as a member and Chair of various committees including the Administration Committee, the Governance and
Marketing Committees and the Risk and Compliance Committee. Neville has also represented REIWA on the WA government’s Property Industry Advisory Committee for 10 years and has recently joined PropTech Investment Council. One of Neville’s greatest legacies will be REIWA’s Accreditation Program, advancing professionalism in REIWA members and developing trust in real estate agencies across the community.
Neville has been involved in adopting fundamental
technology advancements that have shaped the property industry, including the provision of online RealForm documentation in 1992, the launch of realnet.com national portal across three states, championed national initiatives such as the DocuSign platform,
initiated REIWA’s investment in technology, and introduced various technological solutions across the organisation. Neville remains a pioneer in the technology revolution and his work has greatly benefited the industry nation-wide. Neville has made a significant contribution to all corners of the real estate industry, applying his time, experience, and knowledge to the people of real estate and the communities they serve. Mr Pozzi retires in July this year after an impressive
45-year career of dedicated service to REIWA.
